Load Break Switch

Load Break Switch (LBS), also known as a Sectionalizer, is an outdoor switchgear used in power distribution systems to safely interrupt or isolate circuits under load conditions. Installed on overhead lines or ring networks, it divides the grid into smaller sections and cooperates with reclosers or circuit breakers to isolate faults and restore power. LBS uses inert gas like SF6 for arc extinguishing and insulation.
